A Message from Flwrider

Thanks for visiting Flwrider, visitors old and new. We just wanted to say a little something about the posts on the blog.

We’ve been getting comments about not citing our sources and not including links. But honestly we do, if its something we’ve seen somewhere else on the internet. We throw up a link, usually if you click on the image, you’ll end up where we saw it or the best place of information about whats in the picture. We trawl through flickr and vimeo, going through the actually site, so a lot of stuff we’ve randomly come across, not through someones blog…

If the picture doesn’t have any external information, most likely it’ll either be a personal photo we’ve taken ourselves or maybe emailed to us by friends and random people who just wanted to share a funny image.

And about re-posts, the thing is, we receive dozens of emails daily from cyclists, cycling product companies, people making short movies etc. about the projects they’ve been doing, asking us to help get the word out on their project by posting it on our blog. So its doubtful that they only send it to us, so thats probably why it ends up on other blogs too… We just try help people with their causes, its not like we are out to steal peoples posts.

At the end of the day, we just want to help people see what we see and to help the biking community along. If people want to know more about the stuff we post and feel like we haven’t put up enough information, let us know and we’ll do our best.

Ride safe all,

The guys at Flwrider
